Balls & Barrels



Hey, I like to play with balls... I can use my 1 hand to hold 3 balls, not because Im "capable" but I am just greedy. I prefer these color balls - from my Playskool Busy Ball Popper; I would put the balls into the Playskool Stack & Nest Barrels... pour from 1 barrel to the other. Mom sees it as a form of development skill. Anyway, she hopes to enhance the creativity side of me - to pave a good path for my future. Not sure if this is workable since all toddlers and kids will change as they enter different stages of life, but she will keep trying. Due to my intolerable temper; it should be better if I can work independently, this would be her biggest achievement in life and goal for now. Am trying to be independent and Mom is giving me a tough training on this. So far, not too bad. Am barely 2, cant expect much but in time to come, I could have been better.

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
