Happily flipping through my favourite book -- right after Mom "mended" it (the book) for me... As there are many flip-back cards on each of the pages, I often tore them out if I cannot flip any one of them. Its an old book, so the normal wear & tear were already there... She thought this is a good book which had walked me thru the alphabets from A to Z... So, she used small red square red cardboards to paste the missing alphabets....
Extract of the red cardboard papers.. with hand-written alphabets..

And am still trying to tear them apart if I have difficulty in flipping...
