Dr Lily Aloe Vera Gel...GOOD

After some research, instead of getting California Baby Calendula Cream, Mom decides to get Dr Lily Aloe Vera Gel instead. This was after the incident of me getting a serious body rash after a fever. Actually the fever was not very high, but Mom suspected - I had taken eggs (tiny bit of fried egg) and peanuts (peanut soup) which had aggravated the "fake measles" after the fever is gone. Usually, I am able to take in these foods, not daily but sometimes. But because they are highly allergic foods, my rashes got worse after taking them all. Imagine, it is only a tiny weeny bit of them. I didnt even eat the peanut itself but only drank the soup... Sesame oil is the other culprit as well. So, Mommies - Please do avoid such highly-allergic foods during a baby/toddler/kid's fever period. Well, it may not have happened before, but we cant promise that it will not happen...
Being Mommy, just have to extremely careful.. when it comes to such sensitive cases.. Look at how my rashes flare up, this was really disgusting.
The rashes "spread" to my tongue, and I had little red dots on my tongue all over! They called it Scarlet Fever. Urgh, I was so miserable.

Mom had tried calamine lotion, prickly heat powder, but all didnt work.. In fact, more itchy!
So, well - Mom bought the Aloe Vera Gel, applied for me and it did recover a little bit. Bit by bit each day, and there are somekind of scars during the recovery stage. My body was so coarse.. Hopefully, this kind of rashes will not come back again!

Anyway, this gel is a good buy!

Aloe Vera is thick, tapered with spiny leaves grow from a short stalk near ground level. It is not a cactus, but a member of the tree Lily family, know as Aloe Barbadensis. Aloe Vera is one of the oldest known therapeutic herbs and is renowned worldwide as a healing plant. It originated in the Cape Verde islands off the West African Coast. First mentioned in the Egyptian "Papyrus Ebers" in 1550 B.C. for its medical and embalming value, aloe vera was supposedly used to embalm the body of Christ. Both the Greek historian Dioscorides and the Roman naturalist Pliny recommended aloe vera about 2,000 years ago as an effective remedy for constipation, burns, wounds, bruises, skin irritations, kidney problems and more. It is referred to in many scriptures all over the world and down through the ages. Hindus call it the "silent healer," Chinese the "harmony remedy" and even Christopher Columbus mentioned its importance. Many researches on curative properties of Aloe Vera are well documented since ancient times. Up till today, Aloe Vera continues to benefit and amaze us in boundless ways!
