Mother's Day dinner



Supposed to have a family affair dinner with Mom & Dad yesterday... But last minute arrangement by grandparents to have dinner at SAFRA Yacht Club... Well, we attended anyway. Dad missed his F1 Race Day as well. For the first time, am sitting in a car without my personal car seat... Felt weird but quite ok. In actual fact, all babies supposed to be belted securely onto their own car seats as far as Singapore Law is concerned. But in any case, since this is not Dad's car, no car seat for me.

As we reached; I prefer to look at the sea since am rather curious about the sea waves -- how it hit the rocks up to the coast... All others were at the table; including Uncle Gary, grandparents, etc. Well, as usual; there are always so much "vocals" to put up with since everyone was here. Mom prefers to look at the sun-setting sky... which probably gives one a more calm feeling.


Such a pity, we did not celebrate Mother's Day personally with Mom. But we shall do it with Dad next year... By then, I should be able to say "Happy Mother's Day" personally to her.

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
