Corridor (to see bus)



Another way to soothe myself from crying / tantrums - Mom would carry me out of the house, walk along the corridor to see houses, moving cars, people. As its rather unsafe since am in Mom's arms, she thought by peeping through the narrow "slit" along the corridor will be much safer, but of course with Mom's supervison. Well, I can see buses stopping by, cars driving pass, people walking, cats chasing each other, babies in strollers, kids walking with their parents... Indeed, these are just normal but to a growing toddler, it is more than just exploring. Until now, Mom still wonders --- why is his son (me!) so obssessed about buses... I will run (after the bus as though) when I see the bus leaving; hurriedly flagged the bus when its approaching the bus-stop, cant wait to tap the card onto the sensor (an amount of fare will be deducted for the bus trip)...


Now I know -- that I can see buses even if am not going downstairs.

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
