Attention-seeker in Childcare



I turned into a nasty monster now in my childcare centre... Form Teacher complained to Mommy.. that I purposely disturb my little friends when they are drawing. I will push them to the floor deliberately as they walk... Basically a "destroyer" in the centre now, or if not in my own class.

We have a new-comer recently in my class. So that makes it 7 in our group. Naturally, the new-comer gets all the attention. According to my form teacher; I am just jealous since I am no longer the centre of attraction now. Well, I will just do all sorts of acts just to get attention from my teachers, especially my favourite teachers...

It did not cross Mom's mind that I can be this bad and come to this extent of being an attention-seeker now. I used to be very independent in the centre... Honestly, the teachers can just let me do what I want to do since am well aware of the daily routine. But am just different now. Part of growing up?

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
