Cooking



Mom bought some cooking utensils & stuffs from the recent John Little Sale since I do play cookery at Childcare as well. It was a fast buy at then since Mom sneaked out during lunchtime to get it...Well, I enjoy cooking somehow as I often get to see how Mom prepares for our dinner. Talk about this, ... thanks to Mom who had to rush home every night just to cook a good meal for us. The best part is not about the rush but to headache about "WHAT TO COOK FOR DINNER TODAY?" So, she has to plan dinner on a weekly basis every Sunday in order to have an efficient marketing... Otherwise, she has unwated food left in the fridge, either expired or not in use...
Anyway, she learnt as she goes along and now Dad said, "Your Mom's a Good Cook!"

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
