Thoughts in the wee hours

Nowadays, Mom's work is getting very hectic. She gotta leave home early so as to reach Office earlier to finish her ever-piling work. She works very hard; knowing that not much will be appreciated especially so in an MNC but she still dun bother but does her part.. I would say, very much - she is very dedicated in her job. If only she is more ambitious, she would be somebody by now. Talk about the past, well - she could have done so much more and she would be very much sucessful probably.

This morning, as she was thinking about her past life experiences while waiting for the school to open in the wee hours; she had pinned all her hopes on me. She hopes that I would be "really" somebody in future... In this reality society, without knowledge and knowing more people; u could just be the small fry forever in your life.. Well, if I can make big - I will not need to slog and work so much harder.. So in short, education is so important...

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
