Formula Drift



This is the day filled with awe, a little bit of fear and excitement. My 1st time (yeah, of course it is my first time) to watch the fascinating & colourful cars drift as they made they turns during those extreme bends. However, to Mom & Dad - it wasnt that exciting afterall. According to them, there are better ones and especially in countries with really good circuits. Well, this is just an experience for me. All I said was - "Wow, Mommy u see, smoke and fire.", "Wow, fire"... actually the "fire" am referring to is the smoke that the exhausts gave out.

IN any case, Mom didnt want me to be obssessed with many toys like cars. Dunno why, but she just didnt want me to get too infatuated in any things. To her, moderate is a good word. Of course when it comes to toys, I had never want to let go. Mom has to think of ways and plans to forbid me from over-playing... at the age of 3? Yes, forbid. She has seen many kids, played too much and at the end of the day - has no interests in learning towards the academic side. With my character, it is very hard to force me to do something which I dislike. Since am stubborn, she has to start at an early stage to cultivate the habit of reading more, learning more from books.

Hey of course, not be a bookworm. But there is always a time to play.

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
