Ant-Killer

Our common enemy in the house is Ant. Urrgh, I really detest Ants so much. The sight of them makes me yell at the top of my voice and I will eventually hit them with bare hands.. No one in the family had taught me the method of killing Ants. So Mom believed it should be either the school teacher or my schoolmates whom had done the same before. Again, its another form of imitation.

Mom dislikes insects also, whenever she sees bees (smaller ones), flying beetles, flying ants and cockroaches, she will jump! I share the same reaction as her. But she puts on a brave front of course when Im around in hope that I will be the hero for her.. the next time a BIG cockroach pays us a visit.

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
