No more highchair

I no longer like to be trapped in the stroller or babychair anymore during mealtimes; be it at home or even outdoors... Once in a blue moon, I may agree to sit on the highchair at restuarants or fastfood chains... I would prefer to sit on the bench and feel like any grown-up kid; to have my own set of meal served in front of me and eat by myself. Very often, I will make a mess out of it. So, Mom will try to feed me as much as possible since we are in the public place... Only sometimes at home, I am allowed to eat by myself... In any case, I am eating bymyself in childcare centres, so shouldnt be a major problem when it comes to ability to self-feed.

See how overjoyed I felt when I can sit at the same level as Mommy & Daddy...

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
