Sweet Potato



Sweet Potatoes - many types in the market which Mom learnt recently. The one she bought for me was imported from Australia which cost $2 for such type of 2! Well, since its for me, she thought its worthwhile afterall and moreover bought at Cold Storage. Since the milk scandal, she is more careful in her marketing as mentioned earlier; and tends to shop more at Cold Storage since most veggie are imported from the States or other Western countries which are more reliable.



There are purple sweet potatoes around too; which was imported from Vietnam.. She didnt buy that as it looks kinda... uhmm, I leave it to you to comment...
Sweet Potatoes' flowers are beautiful...


Used it for sweet potato porridge and sweet potato dessert.. Yes, its a delicious dessert! All you need to do is to cut the sweet potatoes into cubes form and a medium-sized smashed ginger.. Throw them all into a pot and boil.. Once the the colour of the soup turns slight orange and turn soft, its ready to be served!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
