Bordeaux Red-Stemmed Spinach

Apparently from a Spanish breeder - a new type of Spinach which has arrow-shaped, dark green leaves with rare, deep wine-red veins and stems which bears an unique sweet & delicate taste.

Well, for the very first time, Mom bought some kind of species which she was doubtful about initially. But since Daddy insisted that they should be better than the normal bunch, she eventually took it to the counter.

Mom boiled into my porridge, tasted it and err... honestly, it does taste sweeter.

These reddies shall be with me for a week.
