Another new learning "toy" from Mommy. As I usually like to stand during my bathe-time, sticking some nice alphabets on the tiles may make my bathe-time more fun... and probably more educational.... duhhh Bought from BHG ...

Yesterday, we went to Cafe Cartel at Siglap. Mom shared her grilled fish with me. I don't really fancy fish but when it comes to fried or grilled fish, as long as its tasty, I will eat. So, no bland food for me please.

Baby Food Cubes ! Mom finally has the chance to utilise them. She started to plan my dinner a week beforehand by storing the meat into 7 baby cubes. These 7 cubes will be frozen and taken out individually for each single day. My Aunty Ani (domestic maid) was instructed to take out 1 cube at 5pm to defroze and minced. So apparently, I will be eating the same old food for a week and menu will be changed in the following week. Well, guess most full-time working moms will be doing so or at least prepare the ingredients in advance; unless they have a direct relative to help them to cook on a daily basis.. to feed their little ones. Fortunately enough, these little cubes do comes in handy afterall. And not forgetting Super Baby Food Book - Mommy's best advisor!

Mom bought a nice Caterpillar from Four Leaves today. This is the first time I tried "Commercial Bread" as I usually eat Wholemeal Bread at home. As usual, Mom shared with me and obviously I love it as it is sweet... but its "ko-song" (no filling).

Whenever I am in Daddy's car - to be more specifc, on my carseat, I bound to doze off quietly by myself as long as the car is in motion.

Apparently from a Spanish breeder - a new type of Spinach which has arrow-shaped, dark green leaves with rare, deep wine-red veins and stems which bears an unique sweet & delicate taste. Well, for the very first time, Mom bought some kind of species which she was doubtful about initially. But since Daddy insisted that they should be better than the normal bunch, she eventually took it to the counter. Mom boiled into my porridge, tasted it and err... honestly, it does taste sweeter. These reddies shall be with me for a week.

Another excellent product of Healthy Times - Arrowroot Cookies. This is absolutely sugar-free, fats free... hahaha.... good one as Mommy didnt want me to put on execssive weight. Duhh... not exactly, but more of her thought at such a young age, I should not be indulging in sweet stuffs; as it is, Im already having a sweet tooth. Well, nowadays alot of Mommies prefer to go organic as deem to be healthier. On the other hand, Mommy is still looking for her "Earthbest" brown rice grains which she is gonna cook for my 1st brown rice porridge. This idea seems to have M-I-A (missing in action) for quite some time. Neverthesless, she will make a trip down to Tanglin Mall one of these days to make a hunt.

Am sure many of you can recognise this well known product... which becomes part of my daily "supplement" now. So far, I am okay with it and... seems to love it. Actually Mom loves it too even to-date. As she feeds me each time, she has the urge to feed herself a spoon too! Haa.. Take a look some of the nice "historic" packaging... This seems to be the one Mom used to take during her generation... She cant really recall though but anyway, Mom's memory is getting haywire nowadays... Poor mom. Err >>> this one.. God knows this is like.. how many umpteen years ago... Let's see some really nice vintage ones... This is special ... with LIME & SODA. Wonda how does it taste though at then. I do not think we can find these type here locally...

Initially, Mom wanted to get a PIYO Powder Case. Did not get to see this special yellow piyo-shaped case below... uhm... Mom dun really fancy "pressed powder"... Hee... The current one is not user-friendly at all. The cover is difficult to open and the puff always has tons of powder on it when Mom applies on my body... its a so-called gift though. Anyway, she spotted this nice and useful powder case from Puku Petite instead. It has a partition which separates the powder from the puff with a 2-section lock cover as well. Very useful. Mommy would like to recomend this special-design case to all mommies out there!

My whole day; was packed with events... Mom went to BHG and Marina Square since Po-po wanted to get a pair of shoes for me. Coincidentally, both BHG & JL are having sale. So, she bot quite a number of stuffs for me and we got this pair instead of Pigeon Baby Shoes. Takashimaya may have, but Mom is too lazy to travel all the way there. Hence, she decided to get Pigeon Baby Shoes at this year Sep Taka Baby Fair instead. Some research & extracts from the web... Oh yes, Im 1 Year Old finally - TODAY! Mom bought a mini cake from Cottage Pies. Dad said we only lite & blow candle once a year. So we did not put any candle this time... Literally, its for me to "feel" and "touch" and "smashed" (if I do) the cake. Hee... But Im probably wondering - wats that little dough doing in front of me...

I received a pair of soft-sole shoes from Yee Yee. Uhmm.. it is "bendable" and suitable for babies like me; whom just started to learn walking. Im not sure when will be my 1st step. One of the Chinese mthys, derived from the net... A long bread, yu char kuei, is given to the child for the first time. It is believed it will help him learn how to walk. The day he walks, a relative walks behind him with a knife drawing three lines on the ground. The Chinese believe there are invisible bindings around a child's ankles binding him to a previous life. With the bindings cut, the child walks freely forever. Well, its just a myth but I believe there are Mommies out there whom would really go to such extent. Nonetheless, not sure if Mom will do it. Yes or no, all mommies will want the best for their babies, Im sure.

Uhmm.. ok, let's face it. Im still young and I really have no idea what are pressies all about. Despite Mom putting the pressies in front of me, I basically had no interest to open any one of them. Hahahaa.... At the end of the day, Mom opened up everything for me...

Yes, today is my birthday celebration (4 days in advance, since my actual day falls on a weekday). VENUE: Mom's Nest D ATE: 11th May 2008 TIME: 12 noon - 4 pm To start the day off, PO-PO (mom's mother) arrived our place at 9.45am. She came specially early so as to spend more time with me on this special day. I really appreciate Po-Po's love. The next guest was Ah Tong Aunty; whom was Mom's Confinement Lady. She's actually Ma-ma (Dad's mother) friend. And so that also explains why Mom's still in contact with Ah Tong Aunty. She gave me a red packet. Next followed by Kam-Po & Uncle Danny (Dad's cousin). I know Uncle Danny loves me very much. He carried me most of the time during the party (aside from Mommy la). Then we have Ma-ma & Yeh-yeh whom arrived almost at 1pm. I was sleeping then when they arrived. Nonetheless, I woke up when Aunty Joyce & family came to my room. I was rather shocked to see new visitor, so as usual, I bawled. After such,
