Self-Study...

I was caught; during one afternoon doing my "self Study"...
Mom heard some sounds from the kitchen; realised that I was mumbling to myself, writing at the same time.

I always have the habit of taking out my worksheets during the weekends - going through either by myself or will command the maid to sit down with me; and I will teach her... Hahahaaa. Poor maid gotta sit down with me, hear all my 'nonsense' teaching in Mandarin (hahaa), and made her repeat after me.

As for Mom, she will try to teach me to write numbers and alphabets (since now she still have the time to)...
I hope Mom will have more time for me even after my lil sister is born... I am sure she will make time.

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
