A great fall!

Image
It has been some time Mom updates the posts... that's because I had the worst fall of my life (these 3 years by far though).. She was busy taking care of my "tooth" and ensure I eat proper food so as not to aggravate the injured tooth. Well, it all started with the wet floor - by our neighbour next door as she always cleans the corridor floor at least thrice a day. I walked out of the lift by myself and started to run to my house. Before I could even continue to run, I stepped on the wet floor and lose control. My tooth hit the hard concrete floor and got pushed into my gums.. Blood kept gushing out non-stop... neighbour was too shocked to say anything but continue to clean and wash away all the dripping blood. Mom carried me back to home and use a wet cloth to stop my bleeding. Its of no use of course as I cried non-stop, started to walk up and down by myself, dunno what to do. Mom grabbed me and soothed me down. The next moment, Dad drove us to the nearest Dentist to ch...

Bread-Lover

Image
Always go ga-ga over cookies and jellies... Dad is rather against the idea of "over-dosage of jellies" as I ate too much, almost 1 to 2 per day. So, Mom started to me into toasted bread since plain ones can be quite boring. To her surprise, I do not mind normal (not toasted) bread with butter spread. I can finish 4 pieces of bread at one shot. Of course, I got too full in the end and complained to Mom. In any way, bread is much better than snacks, jellies or sweets. One fine day (out of the blue), I told Mom, "Cannot eat sweets yeah, I must brush teeth yeah." Probably some teachers/teacher has injected this kind teaching to me, Mom thought to herself. Well, its good of course because there was a period of time that I kept asking sweets and even attempted to eat it with the wrapper as well. Mom nearly wanted to feedback to the school - to stop giving sweets anymore to me. Well, perhaps some parents did it a day or so earlier than Mom; she didnt seem to find any more...

3 Years Old Birthday

Image
This time round, we didnt have any grand party or special celebration. Mom decides to keep it low profile and throw a better party for me next year in school instead. As far as Mom is concerned, I probably do not have any idea what is birthday all about. To save hassles, she will do it a better one next year when am sensible enough to appreciate. We had a simple birthday at Por Por house as usual. I really love to go Por Por house at all times. I got really excited when it comes to blowing candles and to cut the cake by myself. Nevertheless, Mom didnt take any snap shots as it was too difficult to capture the moments since Mom's camera is not working well anymore. She managed to get take a picture of my cake. Chocolate cake - is my all time favourite. We left Por Por house quite late... almost 11pm, I dozed off "sweetly" in the car. By looking at me, Mom knew I had a great time afterall.

My Bolster, My Companion

Image
Since newborn, my beanie has been with me and in total, it has been 3 years. It has always been beside me during my happy times and sad moments as well. Sad to say, we are not allowed to hold our bolster during school lessons anymore even for the playgroup babies. As now Im in Nursey 1, the more Im not permitted to carry it unless for a nap. Well, it serves a good purpose in school but when am back home, my bolster will not leave me again. The only times when I hold my bolster in school is before the actual school lessons start. So, u can see my hands holding on to it even if Im doing something else.

Mother's Day Celebration in School

Image
My school has invited all the Mommies to school during this special day. I can see that, there are some Mommies who didnt make it and the poor babies stayed in another Bay (classroom) to watch TV. All the other kids and babies, accompanied by their Mommies gathered around in the larger Bay to celebrate Mother's Day. There was singing performance and buffet (finger foods) for all the Mommies. It was a touching moment for all. Mom was holding me and I didnt want to leave her when its my turn to perform... DUH. I made some Mother's Day gifts for Mommies (pics to be posted later) - guided by teachers of course. To receive Mother's Day present from their toddlers is definitely a very special gesture, especially when they are still so young. Usually, probably a 7 year old (on average) will initiate to do a DIY present for their parents. Mom is looking forward to this day.

New Jelly

Image
The very traditional type of jelly that was well-loved by many kids during Mom's generation (in the 1980s), has new packaging that looks "healthier" & more appealing. I am always given one of them if I behave well in school. It serves as a reward but an "addictive" habit. I began to love jelly very much and always ask to buy two pieces of them (from the nearby shop) when we're on the way back home from school. Mom finds it hard to say No to me since there is no significant reason to do so. Anyway, I will grow out of them one day. Sometimes she has to buy a different type of packaging - in order to surprise me. So whenever she buys a new big pack, I will bring 2 pieces to school. This is one of the them in the shot taken below. This "longish" tube shape is better, not so messy if I eat it directly.

More Milk

Image
My intake of milk has decreased significantly. So now, I only drink twice a day - once during tea time and the other before bedtime. Usually I will drink at least 180ml per feed but now about half the dosage. Well, as long as I am still milking - Mom is glad. Milk is indeed very important to us since newborn and if we can continue to drink until we grow old. Ever since Im 1 yr old; Mom began to experience backaches every now and then. Sometimes, she gets too paranoid and lets her imagination run wild. She had to catch them back quickly before they turn really wild. Well, thanks to all the frequent carrys (carry me of cos) and bending; poor posture as well. She just went for a good massage at Tanjong Pagarlast weekend and it somehow cures tis ailment for this time. She should be going back really soon, a month later probably for another good rub. Now, she is comptemplating to start a good milking habit... HL Milk is her 1st choice.
