1st 3 Days at Childcare


Mom had not been posting for days as she's too tired to do so. Since the day I started my childcare, she wakes up 5.30am to send me to the Centre before she leaves to catch the bus to work. And she will fetch me after her work. This has fatigued her.
Some of her friends & colleagues asked - "Did he cry?"... But of course, I do and still. Here are a re-cap of what happened from Day 1...

Day 1: Mom left secretly while I was playing blocks by myself.. It works!
Day 2: Cant use Day 1 trick as I clinged onto Mom like glue.. So Mom brought my favourite cake to trick me... Asked teacher to feed me while she left quietly. It works!
Day 3: Same "Cake Trick" but doesnt work anymore. I took the cake from Teacher's hands & passed to Mom instead.

Next consecutive days onwards, I will just bawl when Mom leaves for work...

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
