Sleeping with Mommy

Ever since I join childcare, I am "yearning" more warmth from Mommy. Mommy's bed becomes my bed... She usually has no problems putting me to sleep. But recently, I want to be hugged (upright) by Mommy to sleep. Within 5mins, I will doze off. Several attempts had been made to put me to bed right after I doze off, but failed as I will open my eyes and bawl as loud as I can. Well, I just do not want to be "left alone" by Mommy again...

Now, she had found a tactic.. is to hold me to sleep as usual but wait for another 5 more mins, then she will sit on her own bed and cradle me... My eyes remain closed... peacefully so long I can smell her. Well, Mom has to wait for another good 15mins to ensure am already sound asleep before putting me onto my own bed. Long process but worthwhile since no more screaming & distractions.

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
