In MRT Train

As and when we take MRT Train to anywhere, Mom always carry a snack container with her. Since I am a very impatient boy, I will not sit still in the stroller for long... So in order to appease me, she will have to feed me snack to "shut" me down. If not, it will be havoc as I will make a hell lot of noise till the whole train of people will stare me at real hard... as if I am tortured by Mom.. This is the thing Mom detests the most...

People who had not been parents before will usually not be able to understand why some Moms & Dads will rather let their babies cry n shout.. This is because, they as parents know their babies the best - no matter how they coax these little ones, they will never quiet down but scream even louder.. The only way is to pretend not to get affected so that these little rascals will know its of no use even if they shout or cry break their throat...

Anyway, Mom managed to put me down with some cookies... see how happy I was in the train then.

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
