Ani's Last-Day wz me

marked Aunty Ani's last day since she first joined us back last year 2007 Sep. Well, it was a pretty sad moment for Mommy. She's her first maid afterall so; hard to hold back her tears when she bid her goodbye at the door. Aunty Ani didnt dare to look into Mom's eyes when she left because she herself (Ani) was in tears too. Both of them - an employer & a domestic worker had spent a relatively good time together for this past year. She had also trained me well on areas like:

* Walks to the kitchen to throws my own diaper into bin
* Picks up dirt from the floor and throws into bin
* Keeps my own toys after playing
* Takes & put things back to original place
* Learns & speaks some short words

Well, she is our history and we had a new maid that came along last Saturday. Her name is Aunty Ning-ning. Hopefully, all will be fine. These few days, new maid plays with me, reads storybooks to me, sings to me... Uhmm, dun remember if Aunty Ani did that too? Well, the list is endless if we are to compare. So, shall look forward to a good 2-year (pray hard!!!) relationship with Aunty Ning-ning..

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
