A Day with Ning

Mom was on Medical Leave today from work. This also marked her last rest day at home. The next following day will be solely Aunty Ning and me. Fortunately, our neighbour (both the Ah Ma & maid) is very helpful. They always come over to see how I am doing at home and often plays with me. I really appreciate their kindness and very grateful to them. I will "repay" them when I grow up next time.. (Errmmm, how to repay arh.. eh, I will ask Mom).

Anyway, Aunty Ning had her "Final Exam" today after a week of training with Mom. She took care of me whole day without Mom's supervision. Well, I have to admit I do bully her. I refused to sleep and played whole day until evening... She had no choice but to put me on highchair with my bolster (facing the kitchen) while she did her work in the kitchen. I couldn't take it anymore and finally dozed off on the chair. Well, it will take some time for Aunty Ning to get acustomed to my habits and finally settle me down.

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
