Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.
This is my 1st "ride"... on a TOY MODEL CAR... DUH... Anyway, this is just one of those Machines where you insert a dollar coin; in order to let babies like us to have thrill of so-to-speak, drive a car. The car did not move though, cos Mom decided not to put the coin in as she thought I looked like a dwarf sitting in a gigantic creature. Apparently, Daddy did not like me to ride on these as well as he claimed, that I will cultivate a habit of wanting to sit on such similar cars/machines whenever we bypass one. So advice is not to let me have this "cheap thrill". Anyway, I did cry when Mom removed me from the car... I kept bawling away even though we already left the place.
