Hey, Mom started to look for nice bucket hats for as nowadays the weather here is really bad. Temperature as high as 40 Degrees Celsius! This is crazy... my god. The sun is not good either, so it will be best if she can get something to shield me from the sunlight... especially so when Im to the fair side, my skin gets red easily once exposed to sunlight for a certain period of time. Anyway, she found some nice buckets from Pumpkin Patch since she does not prefer the traditional "baseball hat"

A good wake-up look of mine... Actually, this pic was taken after my bath... Err I went back to ZZzz again while Mommy prepared for work. Then, I woke up again to see her off to work.

Yesterday, we had our Cake Tasting Session 2. Both Mom & Dad had gotten themselves 2 cakes only this time as Dad wanted to try the Orange Zest which is claimed to be good. After a good bite however, he does not want to finish anymore as he said he didnt really fancy fruit cake that much... So Mom gotta gobble the rest of it. Tiramisu is alright but did not really catch their attention. So far, Blackforest is still the best. Mom was talking to her colleague/ A nnie some time back about the best blackforest cake in town. Coincidentally, her BF works at Grand Hyatt, where serves the BEST blackforest so far.. Apparently, whiletheir blackforest is different from other confectionery , it cost approximately SGD 16.00 plus a small piece of it.. probably half of the pic shown here. Well, these will be what we termed <> HIGH-END CAKE. Mom hopes to try one day! Jie Jie Annie , please ask your BF to bake one for my MOMMY PLEASE....

This is my 1st "ride"... on a TOY MODEL CAR... DUH ... Anyway, this is just one of those Machines where you insert a dollar coin; in order to let babies like us to have thrill of so-to-speak, drive a car. The car did not move though, cos Mom decided not to put the coin in as she thought I looked like a dwarf sitting in a gigantic creature. Apparently, Daddy did not like me to ride on these as well as he claimed, that I will cultivate a habit of wanting to sit on such similar cars/machines whenever we bypass one. So advice is not to let me have this "cheap thrill". Anyway, I did cry when Mom removed me from the car... I kept bawling away even though we already left the place.

After contemplating for quite some time, Mom decided to get some more sleep suits for me as I am either growing out of the old ones or the new ones still do not fit me yet. She had been walking in & out of Mothercare since god dunno when, she still could not find something that catch her attention. Until she managed to find one last week; which she had collected today due no size at then. Apparently, Disney Pooh is their new stocks. Other than that, Mom is preparing my upcoming Baby Profession next Sunday. In view of this, she had bought some of the "required tools" for this fun session.

Haa.. my friend - Javier had started to "shake" his head quite some time ago. Trust this is another milestones which we are talking about. I myself, just started to shake my head nowadays. Whether I want, know or not, I just shake my head out of the blue, as and when I want. Mom personally finds this funny and she always burst into laughter. err...how do I look when I shake my head, though? ... (grinning...)

I started to get curious at new things... 1 of the things that fascinated me is a spoon. Everytime during dinner; Mommy will give me a spoon to play with. She noticed that I started not to only play with the spoon but eat with a spoon (of cos nothing is on the spoon). Well, a good start-off. If the food dropped on my hand, I will use my mouth to "suck" it into my mouth.. or lick it... Well, that kind of action really amuses Mom but she failed to video this portion because, my reaction is still considered "slow" at this stage. So very often than not, I will either "miss" that portion of food on my hand, or the food eventually drop off on my high-chair tray.. She hopes to capture this moment soon. Anyway, one of the milestones at my age is - will start to babble at my own language, when nobody will understand what Im talking about... Soon, I will be able to express myself and guess... Mom gonna have a big headache "entertaining" me. Hiak hiak

Another Monday blues for Mommy, which is the day she detest the most.. because Monday marks the 1st day of the week which she has to left me crying while she left for work in the morning. Occasionally, I may not cry as I seems to understand she has to work. Last week, I didnt cry on most of the weekdays. But this morning, I seems to have "Monday Blues" too... I cried out loud as Mommy left the room for work. Well, I do hope she can be a SAHM at times, but times are hard now. Especially so when prices of food and other necessities had gone up. The only way Daddy & Mommy to work hard so as to provide for the family. Every evening when Mommy comes home, the hard work at office will pay off as she always catch my giggle & smile. I am always very happy to see Mommy back home.

Choosing clothes for my birthday bash... Mom thought she may be able to find some nice bottoms for me at Fox . She was looking high & low for some cargo pants and surf shorts. But only 2 pants caught her attention instead. Apparently pretty new stocks. She also bought a plain top for me. Mom being in the freight forwarding line; is in close liaison with Fox Fashion PIC on their shipping needs... So more and less, she knows when the new stocks will come in. Their garments come from almost all over the world. Fox is just one of the many brands under Wingtai Group . Well, she hopes to find something nice for me at Fox in the next few weeks. If not, she may just pop in Life Baby or some retailers of Little Ideas .

Today, we went to Toys R'Us for a walk... Mom saw Doodle Pro and thought this will be useful for me. She will use this to encourage me to draw and eventually write my name.. In actual fact, she hopes that I can use my left hand to write as both Dad & Mom are left-handed. Mom is better than Dad as she still use her right hand to write. All thanks to Por-por (My Mommy's Mother), who had trained Mom since young. When she was about 2 yrs old+, she used to take pen/things with her left hand. Por por had then decided to use a cloth & string - wrap and tie Mommy's left hand up. This way, Mom did not have a choice but was "forced" to use right hand to take pen and eventually write with her right hand. Until to-date, she uses her right hand to write, cut, eat (chopsticks/spoon/fork/knife) and do artwork. But when comes to cooking like slice the meat, frying, she uses her left hand. Weird right, but I guess its because cooking is what she had picked up later in her

These few days, Mommy had been tied up with the preparations of my birthday bash that she's tired to blog and take pics of me... Today, as she was looking at me while Im standing in my playpen, she realised I had grown "taller". At the same time, she is also worried that I may end up climbing out of my cot or playpen one fine day. Well, guess that will be the day when Mommy knows she can no longer keep me "locked" in an enclosed area anymore. Well, as I see myself coming to 1 yr old soon, I began to understand more of the things around me.. Lets keep a lookout of the next few milestones Im gonna hit in time to come.

After much consideration... Mommy finally came out with a draft design of the cake which she had customised for me... so far, this is a draft. She still find something missing though... A BIG THANK YOU to Aunty Helen , who had given Mommy some precious ideas in this draft; she had indeed been a great help to Mommy as always... and of cos, a good pal!

Today, we decided to try out some cakes at Pine Garden before we place our order with them. Here are some of the cakes we had bought and tried. Next week, Mommy gonna make a trip down to Pine Garden again to buy somemore... So far, Daddy is only impressed with their B l a c k f o r e s t . Mommy shares the same sentiments but also love the Lychee Martini . Personally, she feels that Lychee cake is something extraordinary.. but but, Daddy does not really fancy fruit cake... so... We only shortlisted B l a c k f o r e s t today.

Uhmm... Daddy wants to train me - to use my own fingers to grab the food and put into my mouth... But seems like I am scared... and kinda curious (whats that tiny little thing??) Today, Mommy tried to do the same, but I just keep on staring at the star flake. What Mommy had deduced is, I am still not as good in my pincer grasp, so perhaps she will try again next time.

Initially, Mom would like to have Winnie The Pooh as the theme for my 1st year party. These are the few pictures which she had gathered so far. Honestly, she is not very satisfied with them as she find them kind of "CHIN CHEONG"... (aka cheena & old-fashioned). She had also wrote to Pine Garden to check on the designs but none caught her attention . But she personally feels they look complicated & congested... As the topic mentioned, I love it. Papaya seems to be on my top list favorite foods now. Mom makes it a point to feed me papaya every alternate day. She would go the her workplace canteen to buy a slice of papaya at 50 cents each. Of course, if compared to market, its kind of expensive. But if she is to buy 1 whole papaya, sure we cannot finish. So may even be a waste of money. Anyway, smashed papaya looks good and healthy enough, for me to clear my bowels daily.

Somehow, Mommy would find myself look like a Japy Boi. Why? Reasons are; I am too fair-skinned and my eyes are small... Of course some of the real Japy bois do have nice big bright eyes... But alot of some said my eyes resemble Mommy. And only the eyes takes after her. All others after Daddy. Do I really look so much like Daddy? But hoh, my Daddy does not look like Japy.. According to Mom, he looks like one of those ABC and somewhat - some country 华侨 man ... No wonder, everytime when Im with Mommy in train or bus, people always asks if I am local.. Well, of course am a local, Singaporean! Do I really not look like a local here?

My Companion tooth finally erupt! This will be my 4th tooth. As usual, very difficult to snap a shot of my teeth. Now I began to eat "properly" with my front upper & lower teeth. Mom tried to place bicsuit/finger food into my mouth and made me bite using my front teeth. This is to ensure I do not gulp my food as I grow older... As you can see on the left, Mom had bought a new food - Gerber Finger Food... star-shaped and sweet potato flavour flakes for me to try... Now that 4 nice teeth had finally "assembled" together, I can try more new foods in time to come.
