My 4th Birthday

Since my 1st year birthday in the year 2008; I had not been celebrating my birthday in big hoo haa parties.. Mom planned to have the next bog birthday bash on my 12th birthday instead. That is to signify my last year of celebrating as a young kid and gonna enter into my teenage life soon. Well, for my mei mei; it would be different as she did not have any full month party. Mom jokingly told Daddy last nite; "Mei mei 1st year bash will be held @ Shang-ri La okay?" Daddy gave a silly look.

Well well well, I won't feel inferior to my mei mei. Mommy always drill this few statements into my brains: She's ur mei mei, you must lurve her, protect her with all your heart. U will not allow anyone to bully her."

Perhaps being flooded with the same phrases over & over again... I do luv my mei mei.. Or it is because she is too cute to resist...

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
