No Macaroni plssss

Image
Bellamy's Organic Vegetable Macaroni is made from the fintest organic wholegrain wheat and organic vegetables. This macaroni is an ideal food for children from 12 months. Included - * Organic tomato * Organic spinach * Organic beetroot Based on the self-explanatory picture below, I think this Macaroni does not look appetizing at all. Total Failure for the 1st time - as the colour seems to be appealing but I did not want a 2nd mouth anymore... Mom bot it since weeks ago, kept it in my shelf and... conveniently forgotten about it till to-date. After this attempt, wondered when will be the next; and hopefully I will like it the next round.

Go Organic

Image
After several visits to the Cold Storage and MarketPlace (previously known as Jason's); Mom decided to get Thai Hom Mali Rice (Organic Brown Rice)... - "Hom" for its gentle, unique aroma and "Mali" for its jasmine white appearance - is the official name, of Thailand's finest fragrant rice. It is nutritious, containa high fibre, vitamins B1. B2, niacin, carbohydrates and protein with no gluten, so it is non-allergenic. It is rich in minerals such as iron, calcium and phosphorous. Wow!! Seems very "well-contained" huh. Anyway for a start; I will only be having brown rice porridge during the weekends as I have a "heaty" body by nature (like Dad) and Mom is worried that I will get constipated if consumed on a daily basis.. Strange as it is; when cooked, porridge is not tinted brown at all but tiny light brown spots of the rice can still be spotted..

New Mat

Image
Nicely-layed alphabetical mat in our Hall - for me to crawl & "walk" (struggling to, but still not official yet). Initially I was timidated by this large alphabets and got mixed up with my Bath Appliques and attempted to stick on the wall... bawahahahaa.... By the way, Mom finally bought SE 902C (afterall) today...

PSP

Image
Okay, another new gadget for (me)... more for Mommy I think ~ She would want very much to play GTA. Well, she does not have many hobbies except some games (once in awhile) or blogging. PSP was handed to me because I was fussing, screaming at the top of my voice in the car! Hiak hiak hiak... No doubt no emitting lights, but am well fascinated by its shape, screen (errm, black screen since its not switch on), buttons (which is one of my HOT favourites!

Sleeping Attitude...

Image
Tiring day - Mom woke up early in hope to get the good HP deal from M1 - suntec conventional hall.. but to her disappointment, people already started queuing as early as 5.30am this morning to be the 1st 100 customers, no doubt the fair supposed to start at 11am. Yea, poor Mom is naive; to think she can finally upgrade her handset to her ideal one without spending much money. Well, she's been a spendthrift since the day she got pregnant with me... ***SIGH*** without making her feel much better; Starhub is having a roadshow concurrently at the Atrium as well. And of course, the phone she's been eyeing is on the brochure. Okay, the Queue is super long and it takes approximately 3 hours (minimum) for our turn. So everything was in vain this morning as Mom did not want me to queue together with her.. as it is, I've been extremely grumpy nowadays.. I dozed off while we made our way back to carpark.. The naughty side of me reveal again - from the way I sleep.

Belated Father's Day!

Image
Yes, we supposed to have it last weekend but dad had work to do and... both of them dun fancy crowded places.. so we postponed to-date for a good day outing! Anyway, we started the day with cycling at East Coast park early in the morning after breakfast. Hot weather though! Well, Mom does not know how to cycle.. (sad to say), so we have to depend on Dad to give us a "ride". We then proceed for a sumptuous meal (buffet lunch) at Traders Hotel Singapore by Shangri-la - Cafebiz. Yea, its a cozy place I would say. These are my lunch spread... Mom did not have much time to snap more nice foods as she was busying feeding me and, herself as well. Mom mixed in the Red Snapper into my congee for my main course. Cod fish was a side dish. Bread & Butter Pudding wz Vanillas Sauce is Mom's favorite. But over here, it is Bread & Almond Pudding.. Wow, Mom loves it. Honeydew became my fruit of the day since Papaya is not included in the fruit platter..

Sore Eye

Image
** Picture taken 2 days ago ** I had a mild eye infection 2 days ago (Tue)... Mom had to rush home halfway from office; brought me to see Dr Sim... Was precribed with some eye drops & antibiotic cream.. But seems like the cream is causing some irritation to the skin around my eye... With 1 puffy eye; the reddened skin surrounding it made it worse... Went back to see Dr again for a change of cream. Today Im much better but still; feeling grumpy.

Pork Fillet

Image
腰肉 - This is the pork fillet which Mom has been looking for to make nicer porridge for me. We really need to thank Aunty Sammi again for sharing this with Mom. Aunty Sammi is the one who had encouraged Mom, taught her ways of cooking nicer porridge... Now I simply love to eat my dinner! Still remembered I used to take 45mins or more to finish a bowl of porridge... THANK YOU AUNTY SAMMI! MUMMY BEST PAL!

Playskool Stack and Nest Barrels

Image
Another new toy from Mom - Playskool. Apparently to train my organising skill - to stack, close both to form a barrel. As I am still young, I use it otherwise..

1st STEP!

Image
M at Po-Po place today.. and had my real 1st STEP (not 1st walk yet UGHH)... can see my legs still not strong enough to hold the weight of my body... so I fell as I tried to make my way thru. Dad been telling Mom to be patient as one fine day, my pair of legs will be ready, to carry the weight of my body, to enable me to walk and not only Mom's gonna be busy "chasing" me, I will racing by then.

Kiddy Palace

Image
We supposed to look for my potty at Kiddy Palace today... in vain but I tried out Fisher Price Rainforest™ Jumperoo™ as well as Bright Starts™ Around We Go!™ Activity Station . Well, guess I am "too old" for such play yards and I do not seem to fancy them at all. Errm.. I started to bawl after a minute in. My lengthy-legs do not allow myself to be seated comfortably in. Anyway, a nice try. Still hunting my potty though.

One Upon A Potty

Image
Traditional Potty - which Moms wants to get initally but seems it not easy to spot one nowadays... There are so many "improved" versions & trendy ones out in the market now. Looks like gonna be a tough choice if Mom is to choose from any of them. Realistically, they look more like a play-tool than a potty itself. But this is one of the ways to arouse the curioisity of the little ones; as well as a more creative way of instroducing this new little friend into their life. Mom had gathered some of the nice, interesting ones below. Again, we can have a look at the potty in the " D ynasty-Time ".. ERM, BUT I WONDER HOW IT WORKS EH.. Again; the shopaholic side of Mom wants to get these books for me.. Errr... this is to keep me company while I do the real business...

Im shaved (again)

Image
Mom took half day leave today and shaved my hair together with Daddy. Uhmm, Im not really used to it without hair now. But this is a good intention in hope I will grow more "BuShy" hair... bwaahahahaa.... Daddy even used the old-grandmother method - apply "brandy" (hard liquor) onto my bald hair. Heard this will trigger my hair growth.

Batang fish fillet

Image
Batang Fish Fillet - to make my porridge. It will be marinated lightly with bit of ginger juice before it is mixed into my porridge. I do not quite like fish because of its "fishy" smell. But fish is good for all young children's development. Mom heard about the mercury levels in fish which could be harmful to young children. Apparently, batang belongs to the Spanish Mackerel family which has rather high mercury level. Mom remains skeptical though. I guess moderate should be fine.

6th Tooth

Image
Finally, Mom managed to catch a snapshot of ALL my teeth. Not clear though but good try, Mommy~ I began to munch and bite well. Just that I took a little more time to finish my dinner every nite. Poor Mommy have to keep me entertained most of the time during dinnertime...

Pizza

Image
Pizza placed in front of me... I attempted to feel it but seems scared to really touch it. Probably the looks of it did not attract me... Nevertheless, Mom still fed me. Umm, some pizza bread with tomato sauce, cheese and tiny bit of capsicum... Yummy!

Up close with NDS

Image
I thought for a moment - I really look like one of those kids indulging themselves in game consoles - on the trains, buses or even taxis/cars. Popular in this generation are namely PSP™ (PlayStation® Portable) , NDS (Nintendo DS) , Wii (Nintendo Wii) , PS3 (Playstation 3) & Xbox 360 for now. Wonder what will become in MY generation next time...

Motherhood Fair

Image
Mommy's first time to Motherhood Fair - she met up with Knottsy aka Sherlyn for good grabs. Thank you Aunty Sherlyn for bringing Mommy around to get good deals and freebies! Apparently, Huggies Ultra is having their sneak preview of their improved version diapers during this fair. Coincidentally, Mom just bot a pack (current version) for a trial last week. Good though after her abandonment of Pampers; 2nd choice after Mamypoko. Sealer could be her 3rd choice; she took a sample from the booth. The results...

Play-mate

First "playmate" during bathe time...

Bao-bao

Image
Smell of Innocence - thats exactly how each baby smells now. As they grow older, this unique fragrance slowly diminish and turns into smelly sweat; smell of an emerging monster! Most experience mommies will tell you - enjoy this babyhood of theirs now as they are still young. They do not talk back at you now (literally), they do not shout at you.. You dress them whichever way you like them to be in, doll them, buy whatever toys you deem fits them now... when they start to learn to choose and say NO to you... this is it. So, Mommy treasure each and every moment spent with me now. As it is, she can tell m gonna be a rascal in time to come. Strange but it is true, my bolster AKA bao-bao; seems to have this special power to calm myself down when Im bawling. I smell my bolster with deep breathes... I guess every one of us has our own sweet-smelling bolster/pillow when we were young. An innocent young addiction. Well, both Mom & Dad did smell MY bolster; and the smell is indeed "n

Stand..still

I started to stand still for a while (now without support) before I "drop" onto the floor/bed. Probably this is the stepping stone to my 1st STEP. Mom had been filtering statements like "..has he started to walk?" OR "walk already right?" OR "..still dunno how to walk yet??" from PeOple. Yes, PeOple. Known fact - every baby is different, so is their development, folks... Well again, its natural to make comparisons especially among the older folks. Daddy particularly disagrees; when it comes to "forced-practice". And that is, to hold the little one by their armpits to make him/her walk. He feels this is a disrupt to a child's development. When he is ready to walk, he will stand up and walk by him/herself, that it - Daddy's perspective. Mom realised, I love to stand and attempt to take a step or 2 by myself.. when m on my bed, playpen, and bathroom/toilet. Seems to her; that I dont like anyone to hold me unless I want to hold on t

Sweet 18 Gu-Gu June

Image
Today, we went to Yeh Yeh (Grandfather) place for dinner as we are a holding a small party for gu-gu June (his god-daughter). A photo of pretty Gu-gu June & myself
