Be a sport

Image
Im learning sports!! Errrm, Mom wants me to be in either the Squash Team or Tennis Team in my future Primary School. For a start, I join in the fun as Daddy played Table Tennis with kor-kor... So nice and I seemed to be enjoying more than them. To be sporty is one of the reason, but more for healthy purposes...and to build up my stamina since am so skinny. Let's hope I am a sports person when I grow older. So, let's get trained since young!

Maidless for the few weeks...

Image
My poor Mommy has to work like a cow for the next few weeks as our maid decides to go back Indonesia... So, we all very tied up with housework... will blog by next week once everything gets settled...

Ball-oons

Image
Mom didnt know that a ballon can bring so much joy to me... Just by myself, I can play the balloon non-stop for a good few minutes. Perhaps, it can float and bounce for a while. So that somehow fascinated me... Wooh, I wish I will be in a mini house full of small balloons. The next time, Mom will bring me to downtown east to the "playground full of small balls" instead. She is rather sure I will like it though... Balls or balloons, accompany almost every child in their childhood..

Running about...

I prefer to walk by myself; explore the world and see interesting sightings around... But Mom didnt allow me to be too "independent" at outdoors since am still too young... But if we are in a safe area/zone where roads/carparks are nowhere to be seen, yes, I am roamed about freely within that zone or if I have the company of a grown-up kid... Mom took a video; to reveal the excitement & happiness in me as I run about "freely" without being constrained to my stroller...

Mirror Image

Imitating, learning to speak after Mommy & Daddy are my forte right now. As Mom has very dry eyes (since age is catching up with her as well), she needs to wear her specs after she reached home from work. As I looked; how Mommy puts on her specs, I begin to ask for "my specs" as well. I put them on happily and smile to the camera. Yes, I started to learn - to smile when Mommy takes snap shots of me.. It was tough at the very beginning as I didnt know what is photography all about. Now, somehow - I just knew it. To smile and see the flash light, the next thing is to look at the camera screen to see how I look like in the picture... Last week, Mom was on 2-day course with NTUC Learning HUB on effective communication. She learnt that communication with our children is also very important especially to toddlers because of "Mirror Image". The word Mirror Image strikes Mom's mind and immediately, she pictured herself screaming on top of her voice at me, using the

Kim Gary

Image
We went to KIM GARY Restaurant today for a good lunch. Yesterday, Mom was about to lunch with her colleagues at the same place. But they changed their minds at the very last minute. Anyway, we had Spicy Noodles, Pork Chop & Chicken Chop Baked Rice, French Toast and some soups to go with. Pretty good food. I enjoyed the toast and soup very much, too bad the portion is too little for me though.

I love spongeBOB

Image
I dun seem to like Barney just like Mom.. If I happen to flip my book and spot Barney, I will say, "Beat you, Barney!" On the contrary, if I know its spongebob on the TV (by just hearing their theme song), I will dance along with the song and said, "Bob Bob!!". Havin said this, Sponge BOB is a piece of sponge and I like to use a piese of cloth to clean here and there... so probably we do "match" somehow. Today, I requested a cloth to clean the windows for Mom as I spotted some dirt/dust. And that also tells Mom, that our maid is not up to the standard (again). Well, I even showed Mom the dirt! Apart from cleaning, I also took it out on my ABC mat..

Using my towel

Image
Being just nosey or independent; but I attempted to dry myself with towel every after bath. I will tell Mom, "Mommy, I help you dry my body..." As I am not good at expressing myself yet, what I meant should be - I wanted to lend a helping hand to my Mommy, to dry myself instead of her doing it for me everytime... (hopefully). As I dry myself, I will mumbled like, "dry my body"... "dry my hair", "dry my face"..."dry my private part"... etc. Mom used to do this so all these are merely just imitations. At this stage, mirror images will come in. Whatever the adults do, we (children) will follow suit. So, its important Mom & Dad set a very good example for us. Not an easy task though, as sometimes they just cannot control their emotions and break out by scolding us like hell.

Mozzie --Sshh

Image
BY the look of it, we all know this is a suer irritating creature. And well, I am probably one of their favourites preys.. On certain occasions, I get poked by them and seriously, the bite is always somewhat "posionous" as it will swell up to the extreme. Just like recently, this small little bite swell up on my neck & leg, as if I have some kind of a BIG lump.. I was taken to my doc and prescribed with some med and cream. Initially, Mom wanted to use some anti-mozzie cream but she hesitated. Somehow, she feels skeptical about it and decides not to. So, bites will come and go I guess. Suspecting I got bitten at home and should be in the maid's room. ****Sigh****

Mooncake Festival

Image
Its another Mooncake/Lantern Festival again... a day where we indulge ourselves into mooncakes, totally forgotten all about slimming & keeping fit. Mom is one of them.. She loves mooncakes and as usual, she bought the same from Regent this year and Sheration Towers. Few days ago, Mrs Borhan reminded Mom to bring my lantern to school as we will be parading with our lanterns on a Friday afternoon (which is yesterday). Yesterday morning, I couldnt wait any longer but took out the lantern and played with the "bulb" instead. Sad to say, I was only excited for a day and today, am no longer interested in the lantern anymore. In fact, Im more fascinated by the blinking ever-changing lights of the bulb; which Mom definitely wont allow me to play with... So it was kept somewhere. Anyway, Im probably too young to either realise the fun behind it or simply put, has more interest on the other parts of the lantern while other kids were happily playing with their colourful and fanciful

Children's Day

Image
No doubt this is my 2nd year of Children's Day, I only celebrated this year in school (childcare) and with my family. When Mom went to pick me up from school yesterday, I had a huge Goodie Bag filled with food, pressies, etc... I was too excited; as I came out from the school, I pulled out one packet of cheezeballs & asked Mom to open it. Teachers standing at the door was smiling at this amusing scene. Somehow, it raked up some of Mommy's childhood memories whereby, she used to receive children's day gift from teachers every year from Junior School (Kindergarden to Primary 6)...Once she graduated from Children's Day, Youth Day will be the following "kids day" she had then. Children's Day is a public holiday for all schools and some of the childcare centres are closed as well. So, we went for a good lunchie this day at Marche . We had a great time eating & I have my own set meal. Something to share...
