Apple skin
Most of the toddlers are given skin-less apples since its difficult to "chew" and "swallow". Just a week before CNY; I was bugging Daddy for an apple. As Im always impatient, he didnt have the time to remove the skin but pass the slice of apple to me... After having a bite (with skin), my face did not show any disapproval at all. In fact, I wanted more from Dad ever since. From then onwards; I eat apples without any prior skinning.
Should be good as its a good source of fibre. But of course, being a "Kiasu" MOM; she specially instructed the maid to ensure the apples are washed thoroughly before cutting...
