Oscars @ Conrad

Today is a special day ~ am not sure what day today is but Daddy decided to bring us Conrad for a nice treat. This was also the hotel that marked the special day for Dad & Mom. We had our dinner buffet at about 6.45pm. As usual, Mom will usually share the same food as me. She had forgotten the last time ~ she can sit down peacefully to have her dinner since the date 15May-2007 (yes! my birth date).

I was well seated on a Classic Pooh baby highchair, where I was given some Elmo plate and set of cutleries, served with a cup of Apple Juice; compliments from Conrad. Anyway, Mom had gotten some delicious Salmon, Fried Rice, Noodles and some other condiments for me, with Tofu Crabmeat Soup. Dessert was Waffle with butter and not forgetting my favourite Papaya. The moment I saw Papaya, I would say "PA, PA, PA!!!"

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
