Gift from Mei Mei

In order to make me not to feel left out, Mommy had bought a gift for me on behalf of mei mei ilyse. Indeed, I feel so overjoyed at the Thomas The Train gift! I started to build the tracks and all and played non-stopped.


On the other hand, Mom has some 'unfounded' worries. She sees that I am more indulged in playing than anything else as I grow older. This should be normal but she would like me to do more reading up, writing... etc. Isn't this every Mommy's wish? Well, a wish is always a wish. Keeping fingers crossed that; things will change (again) as I grow again.


I will be in Kindergarten One by next year. Talk about tough being a parent, yes.
Generations after generations; getting tougher, more challenging each time.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about. Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Cake-Tasting I

Today, we decided to try out some cakes at Pine Garden before we place our order with them. Here are some of the cakes we had bought and tried. Next week, Mommy gonna make a trip down to Pine Garden again to buy somemore... So far, Daddy is only impressed with their B l a c k f o r e s t . Mommy shares the same sentiments but also love the Lychee Martini . Personally, she feels that Lychee cake is something extraordinary.. but but, Daddy does not really fancy fruit cake... so... We only shortlisted B l a c k f o r e s t today.
