Sunny side up egg


Eggs used to be one of my favourite foods. But one fine day (since last year), I started to detest eggs - never like it anymore. Today, Mom decided to try out something new. My dinner was fried rice. As usual, without nice bright colors on the fried rice, I will not eat. So, she thought of an idea to fry a sunny-side up egg and place it on top of the fried rice. Yes, I was very excited to see this new little yellow thingy (eye yolk) floating on top of the rice. So, I had decided to eat it but only after I have finished the fried rice. Thanks to the idea - at least I ate some rice (because I usually will not eat much rice during dinnertime). I prefer to play instead during dinnertime. So, egg was the last piece in my bowl.. as I slowly indulge myself; I realised it was difficult to cut the egg. Just as I refused to eat it anymore, Mom volunteered to cut and feed me instead.. So, I managed to finish 3/4 of it and left a small piece of eye yolk for Mom. Nice try, Mom! Do buck up yeah! I would love to try new things anyway...

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about. Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Cake-Tasting I

Today, we decided to try out some cakes at Pine Garden before we place our order with them. Here are some of the cakes we had bought and tried. Next week, Mommy gonna make a trip down to Pine Garden again to buy somemore... So far, Daddy is only impressed with their B l a c k f o r e s t . Mommy shares the same sentiments but also love the Lychee Martini . Personally, she feels that Lychee cake is something extraordinary.. but but, Daddy does not really fancy fruit cake... so... We only shortlisted B l a c k f o r e s t today.
