Taka Baby Fair Mar08

Look! The long-waited Taka Fair 2008 had came! Mom as usual, went to grab some stuffs for me... This time, seems like not much things to buy as compared to the last 2 times Mom went. Guess as I grow older, Baby Fairs no longer is the place where Mom can grab good deals.

Nonetheless, she saw some toys but the price is rather dear, so she decided not to buy yet. She prefers to buy as I grow. This way, can save more and yet practical.

Good thing abt this Baby Fair is, you can grab all the branded stuffs at a discounted price and it is really worth a buy. Mom is trying hard not to spend too much on branded as she knows I will grow out of it very soon. Anyway, Mom had learnt that some brands are really more worthwhile due to its durability and quaility. She hopes to keep all the good ones for her sis' (Yee-Yee) baby next time. Like this, it wont be a waste of money anymore.

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
