New friend - Sherene


Today, we went to Mommy's friend house, visit her newborn son.
He is so adorable. OK, we didnt take pictures. Mom forgot about it. So, only take some shots of me eating with the girls (Mom friend's daughters). One of them is Sherene.
Mom saw the 2 sisters; sitting down and play together. She stopped and wondered; what if both of us are girls? Then the scene of us sitting down quietly will emerged.

Well, now for a girl & a boy to play together. Honestly, we all play different stuffs. Furthermore, Mom does not Mei Mei to play all my Toy-Vehicles. She is trying hard to influence Mei Mei to play with Baby, Doll, Cooking, etc. BUT... out our Mei Mei is really rough somehow even though she is so petite... :(

Mei Mei can walk!

Mei Mei can walk!!! At 16 months exactly! And so, we captured this beautiful snapshot of her, standing by our door. The old generation was saying, little babies should start to walk at the age of 12-13 month. If it passes, the next lucky month will be 16th month. Well, whether it's plain coincidence or really the truth, Mei did start walking at the age of 16 months. Not stable yet of course, but it's a good start! Somehow, we just feel that Mei Mei has grown up by this picture. She has grown from a tiny pea to now, looks like a fine young lady to us, whom knows how throw tantrums, babbles to herself & giggles very loudly.

Dermoid Cyst

Mei Mei had went for her appointment on her Dermoid Cyst; at her right eyebrow area. It is pretty obvious as she grows older. The Doctor finally decided to operate on her after Mom & Dad insisted. Honestly, they didnt have a very good impression on the KKH Doctors afterall since Mei Mei's hospitalisation. During the 1st appointment on the dermoid cyst, the doctor was still okay. He explained everything in great details to my 2 old folks...and waited patiently for the 2nd appointment which was supposed to be due in 2 months time. But because the cyst seems to get larger, we had brought forward the appointment date & insisted something to be done straightaway. He only sent Mei Mei for some ultra-scan; which turned out to be fine, PHEW!!! 2nd Doctor SUCKS, I would say! Yes, still at KKH we are talking about.
