Upgrade to Slippers?

Image
By the look at the picture, u can see - I am so eager to wear just any adults' pair of slippers/flip flops. Last weekend, we were looking around for some shoes and the moment I saw slippers, I got so excited that I kept yelling - "I want slippers! I want to wear them now!". Mom was too embaressed to reject and so; she just picked up any slippers in fron of her for me to slip them on. Looks cool but I complained "pain", because of the front "divider" after wearing them for awhile. Anyway, I didnt have such a pair of slippers before except the crocs so far. Mom thought this is too slippery for me as the friction is not as strong. Daddy was looking for a pair of Teva to replace his old pair.. Honestly, Teva is really a good brand when it comes to durability and comfort. It would not be a long wait for me to fit into a Teva... My feet are growing real fast! Time for another new pair of shoes after the current Timberland.

Saka bully me

Image
We have this " black sheep " in our school; popular as he bullies all the kids, even those whom are older than him. He is only about 3 years old plus. He is a hyper-active boy, reacts very fast as in, bites babies, pinch them, push them and all WITHOUT ANY REASON AND OUT OF THE BLUE. I was one of the victim (hope this is the first and the last). I was scratched by him - on my face and fortunately enough, it didnt leave any remarkable scar on my face. Daddy was furious about this of course. He told Mommy, if this happens again, he will compain to the Ministry of Education... wahahahaa.. Well, Mom thought he should go to CCLS under MCYS (Ministry of Community Youth & Sports). He feels that since this little boy names Saka is "abusive" as per many teachers' feedback, he should be well taken care by his own mother or some relative of the parents itself, rather than leaving in the childcare at the expense of other small little kids and even babies.. Yes, he will...

A day a Yakult

Image
Ever since Yakult was introduced to me some days ago, I would ask to bring a bottle of Yakult to school. If I do not drink in the morning, I will remember to drink in the night. Actually, this is supposed to be good for me but because I am too greedy and kept asking for another bottle, I often ended up getting scolded because I insisted to have a 2nd round of Yakult. Well, because of its compact size - I love to hold the bottle by myself and drink it with the mini little straw. To me, it is something sweet and of course I would love to drink as much as I can. Again, we are talking about the house rules and restrictions again... I have to listen to Mom's "teachings" though. I used to have this very bloated stomach when I was much younger. Even as I grow older now, the "bloatedness" still does not seem to subside much. Even Daddy would ask Mom - is it really normal for my stomach to be slightly swollen?? Anyway, Yakult is supposed to aid in digestion as well. So a...

Cream Bread

Image
Something creamy & sweet - this small little look-alike HotDog Bun, that has no hotdog (aka sausage) in it but plain cream in the between. I chose a strawberry flavour one since I love strawberries; the exterior packing designed with this yummy fruit caught my attention. Honestly, I had not been eating bread for quite some time ago. I used to eat alot of wholemeal bread together with Mom. But now I shook my head when I see bread. Hey, I do eat bread in school though, because it was spread with thick peanut butter and magarine... if not with (thick layer again) Egg Kaya and Butter. But when am at home, Mom does not allow such indulgence to happen as she believes excessive peanut butter actually caused coughs and heatiness.. Well, thats all about the restrictions at home.

I just love Jelly!

Image
Aaahh! This is another hot stuff that would drive me crazy all time long --- JELLY! Sometimes, Mom gets worried if it is excessive for me because I eat one or probably two a day EVERYDAY in school. Dunno whats get into the teachers' mind in the childcare centre, but probably they are just trying to either all out to coax me or get into my good books... Well, am not that difficult to please afterall, man. Anyway, Mom thought since then; she probably can make some home-made jelly instead by using real fruit juice and a little bit of Gelatine Powder... Hahaaa, maybe will make a mashmallow Strawberry Jelly No-bake cake soon.

Many fruits

Image
An Apple A Day Keeps the Doctor Away With this saying in Mom's mind, she always keeps stocks of fruits at home for my daily consumption. I love Golden Kiwi, Green Seedless Grapes, Oranges, Apples (sometimes only), Watermelons, Papayas, ... so far, this is the list. Yet to tyry others. But Mom is adventurous enough to get me try new new fruits the next time - probably Dragonfruit Mangosteen I guess. I love to eat fruits honestly because they are sweet by nature.. I love sweet stuff so, fruits are definitely a YES-YES-I-WANT to me. I had learnt to be choosy of course. Certain fruits which I had tried before and I am not going to give it a 2nd chance would be the mini drak purple grapes that looks like blackcurrent... See the shot above. Because they are relatively smaller in size, they taste some kind of sour. So, I only ate a few and gave the rest to Mom... When Mom refused to eat, I would say, "Eat, Mommy. One only or two only. Must eat, very nice u know!". Of course deep...

Play Toilet Water

Today, I was given a bad scolding from Mommy - for playing toilet water inside the toilet bowl itself. To me of course it is fun and exciting to place my hand right into the bowl and splash water from itself... To Mom, it is absolutely gross. I was given a really piece of mind from Mom and I kept shaking my head and hands - expressing my acknowledgement for not playing with toilet bowl water anymore. Actually, it is really part & parcel of growing up - like playing with forbidden things, touching dangerous stuffs and all. But honestly, if without proper guidance given, Mom is pretty sure; we toddlers will be given the wrong impression that it is "OK" to go ahead to do those things which we thought are okay since Mom and Dad did not comment anything or scold us. So giving the right answers to us when we ask questions; choice of words are also important when used to communicate with us toddlers... Uhmm, Mom thought communication tools, words,...etc are only important at her...

Calamine lotion

Image
Calamine lotion is like my best friend - as mentioned yesterday, I always use Calamine Lotion on my insect or mosquito bites... Actually, it did not really help very much but it will restrict myself from scratching further which indirectly helps alot. Because if I start to scratch the bite, it will swell and eventually harden that look like a bump.. Today I used it on my face... Hahahaha Sometimes, I will ask Mom to apply on areas where I feel discomfort even though there isn't any bites or irritation. Probably its the mint cooling effect that soothes my skin somehow, so I love the feeling. Weird but when calamine lotion is applied, I would complain "La-La", in Mandarin terms as "Burning sensation"; but I still ask Mommy to apply more. Besides Calamine Lotion, I guess no other lotions will make me feel safe by not scratching as even doc prescribed cream lotion does not prevent me from touching my irritated skin. Anyway, I inherited my sensitive skin from Mommy.....

I love Plasters

Image
A minor cut - be it anywhere on my body including the sides of lap near my genital area - I also want to have plasters on it after some skin irritation broke out... blur snapshots as I was moving around as Mom was trying to snap the parts where the plasters are. Actually I love the animals on the plasters rather than the plaster itself. Be it out of fun or wat, even I asked Mom to paste one plaster on my face as I have a small mosquito bite...Its hilarious actually but she explained to me - no one will paste a plasters on their face unless they are injured seriously.. I stared at Mom for awhile and continue to throw tantrums - insisted a plaster to be pasted on my face, or I will not give up pestering Mom... She ended up giving me jellies instead before school time in the morning..

NO to heights?

Image
I like to watch things from a high level or position. This sounds rather dangerous but all safety precautions are there of course. Mom is more uptight than anyone else as far as I am concerned... There I was sitting on my own stroller - near a glass panel of a foodcourt at Bugis.. This was taken some days ago. I rather not eat at the table (while Mom and Dad did); but I looked at the people walking by, in and out of the shops, from an elevated level. It probably makes me feel good by observing things by myself, quietly at a corner without any distractions. It is a relief that I am not scared of heights - seems to be... Of course we are not talking about 20 or 30 storeys high. Our home is at the 8th storey... Sometimes when I stand by the corridor and peeped through the narrow opening of the corridor wall, I would stand there for very long until Mom has to pull me back to our house...Maybe it is just mere curiosity and excitement of looking down from a "higher storey".

Birthday Party?

Image
Mom is harbouring the thought of organising a small party in school for me on my 3 Years Old birthday. She had checked - total students in the School Bay will be about 25 persons; add on to the teachers - probably about 30. Of course, Daddy is not into this idea as he thought birthday should be done at home. Well, Mom wants to do it at home of course but having it in school will make my day. I had been receiving numerous goodie bags on other pupils' birthdays, singing birthday songs for all the others... Mom thought I would feel more delightful if pupils sing for me instead. 1st plan is to look at the birthday cakes - she is looking at Swensons Ice Cream Cake - which is definitely a hot favourite for all the kids.. A good number of designs to choose from but Mom had shortlisted Nemo - since I like fish so much... All other designs like Cars, Mickey, do not really interest me.. Extract from http://www.swensens.com.sg/order.html Anyway, this will only take place in 2months time for m...
